Coach Kurth was the inspiration behind my 42 year teaching/coaching career. Even though only 130 pounds he taught me to play with heart and passion and to be a proud Panther during his beginning years at Griffith H.S. He was a tremendous Coach but an even more impressive man. He touched so many lives with his positive presence. Coach, your memory will live on. Hope to see you on the next field we play on.

The Coach Frank Kurt family lived six houses away from the Eickstead family in Hobart --- knew the entire family as Coach Frank Kurth was one of my coaches in high school in Hobart --Tom ( son) was part of neighborhood group living on Lake George -- may God bless and watch over his family -----

Thank You Coach for being a great role model and a father figure to all of us in Elkhart. You will never be forgotten. “Once A Blue Blazer Always A Blue Blazer” !!!

Coach was there for me and later my son. To his family, your father made an impact on us that has lasted almost 50 years for me and has driven my so to be a decorated member of the US Army and now a Firefighter. Men like your Father come into your life infrequently. We are blessed to have him in ours. It was truly an honor. Ben and Cole Pfaff.
