Thomas G. Lantos, age 73. Beloved husband of 43 years to Donna (nee Michalski). Loving son of Michael and Elizabeth (both deceased). Dear Brother of Michael (deceased) (Irene). Cherished brother-in-law of Marlene Michalski (deceased). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and friend to all who knew him. Father to Michelle Williams (Bennett).


He loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed golfing and bowling, watching Cleveland sport teams, and playing the lottery.


No visitation. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held March 15, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Church of the Assumption, 9183 Broadview Rd, Broadview Heights, OH 44147. Entombment Private - Holy Cross Cemetery.


Family suggests memorial contributions in Tom’s name be made to Holy Family Cancer Center, 6707 State Rd, Parma, OH 44134 or Miracle City Hospice, 9150 South Hills Blvd Suite 100, Broadview Hts, OH 44147.


Tom was well loved and will be missed by so many. He was a special soul who brightened the lives of everyone he met.

I just came across this notice. I got to know Tom when he worked at ArgoTech. Being from Pittsburgh, I naturally am a Steelers fan and Tom was a Browns fan. We connected over our love of sports. He was a fantastic guy and I always looked forward to seeing him while in Cleveland.

To my good friend throughout our TRW and Goodrich years. Your heart was as big as the world and your laugh was heard as memorable. You were always there for me and the good times we had together. I will never forget our long phone conversations, the many newspaper articles you sent me on cruising and our times together on the lanes and at the links, especially our time at Firestone South. Godspeed my friend. We will meet again!

So sad to hear of Tom's passing. Condolences to the Lantos family. We were good friends through our days at Cathedral Latin, and, in the 1970's, when Tom ended up living downstairs from another friend and classmate, Fred Badar and his wife, Mary (my sister), we hung out together even more, playing basketball, golfing (that's what we called it!), bowling, and socializing. I truly enjoyed being addressed by Tom as Meesh, Hungarian for Mickey. He'd always greet me as "Meesh", with a...

Donna we were so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. May he rest in peace ..free from suffering. Many Hugs and prayers sent to u . We will always remember his jovial nature and his big big laugh!!!!

Grew up with Tom at St Elizabeth of Hungary and later Cathedral Latin. Used to come to Williams to play Basketball and Colony Lanes to bowl. Always a likeable guy !
