I really admired Tom teaching his young students as he turned them on to science while teaching at McGee Elementary in Pasco. He had us parent volunteers digging up the only rocky area on the whole school property so the kids could learn about habitats.

Tom was a guiding light in our Saturday men’s Bible study. He combined, wit, humor, intense curiosity, intelligence and humor with a healthy bit of skepticism. Every one of (15+ in our group) looked to him with love and affection. He was truly a great and inspiring
soul. God bless Tom and his family.
