Dear Lawrence Family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Tom's passing and regret that we will be unable to attend the memorial service on August 30th, as my son Wesley and I will be on a family trip for the coming year. Tom was a one of a kind. He was an intelligent, funny,and charming person with a vibrant spirit. He was a bon vivant! He was always willing to help his friends when they needed him, he was a mentor to many of his friends. He was also a very sentimental person and a great conversationalist. He lived an extremely interesting and full life. He knew all the SV legends personally. He was instrumental in the development of Apple & Intel (and many others)in Europe. He will be missed dearly. I knew Tom only briefly, but his incredible spirit and energy made a lasting impression. I wish I met him much earlier in life. Tom was an awesome guy. We'll miss him dearly.
