Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry for the loss of your loved one. We did not know Thomas personally, although we know his wonderful son Matt. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. May the Lord comfort you as you go through this time.

My heart is heavy with the loss of Tom, but I rejoice in the fact that I will see him again someday. I love the way that he loved me just as his very own daughter. I never doubted his love for me or any of the daughter-in-laws. His love for his grandchildren was expressed through hours of play time and laughter. The girls loved going to play at PaPaw's house. I remember when Paige was born, Tom's route was close to our house and he would stop by several times a week just to sit and rock her....

When I first came to Metropolitan Bible Church, Tom was first one to greet my family and I. I grew up with his youngest boy Matthew, and Tom was like a father to me. Tom was there for me when I need someone to talk to. His minstries where so awesome, there were wonderful memories that we had. Tom will be missed but, we will see you soon with our lord and savior. We love you very much.

When I heard about Mr. Lehmann going home my mind recalled many wonderful things that I hadn't thought about in years. However, two key words seemed to appear over and over -Kind Hearted and Generous. Those are the two words that come to mind about Mr. Lehmann when I think about growing up with Tim and Aaron. You are all in my prayers and I am thankful for the memories that I have with you all and especially the 'Little Debbie' truck rides while growing up. Most importantly, thank you for...

When I think of Tom Lehmann, I think of love...unconditional love. No one could ever question his love for God or for his family. I remember how much Amy loved Tom and the whole Lehmann family. She used to tell me, "Mom, I'm the luckiest girl in the world. I have the most wonderful fiancee ever, and I love his entire family so very much." When Tom's boys married, he loved their wives not as daughter-in-laws, but as if they were his very own girls. Amy was fortunate enough to experience...

Nathan and I have such fond, fun memories of Tom. He was a delight and joy to be around and loved the Lord and his family dearly. He will be greatly missed. So sorry we did not get the message concerning his funeral as we would have been there.

Susan, I would often see Tom in different grocery stores around town. I stopped to chat with him as I always did. This particular visit with Tom turned out to be my mid-week revival sermon. What a blessing. As I remember that day several years back, I can only imagine the lives of the grocery business he wittnessed to. To him, the early mornings and late afternoon days just gave him time to wittness to a lost world. My heart is saddened by his absence but I rejoice in knowing his...

When we were about to have our first grandchild, my wife commented "I want to be the kind of grandparent Tom Lehmann is". You could tell that Tom was just crazy about his grandchildren. What a great model of how to be a grandfather. Thanks, Tom for showing us that.

Tom was a thoughtful and trustworthy man. Though my relationship with him was through our work he will be sorely missed. I always looked forward to his weekly visits to my gift shop at N. Hills Hospital.
