Not sure what to say?

Tom and I worked together for 20 years. When I started at Smiths, I was relatively inexperience, and I gained so much from Tom's mentoring and experience. It's hard to imagine our team without him, and he will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Tom. My thoughts are prayers to the family. I worked with Tom for years at Ann Arbor Computer and Rapistan, and we spend many long hours on job sites. His infectious laugh, love of blue grass music, his quick wit, and smile will always be remembered, - Mike Cortright

I had the pleasure of working with Tom at a computer company in Ann Arbor for roughly ten years. He was a talented engineer and a valued colleague.

I'm very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We worked together for only a relatively short time two decades ago at Rogue River Software, but Tom is not someone I could easily forget. I learned a lot from him at the time as even though I was a seasoned developer, I was fairly new to object-oriented development. Everything people say about Tom, is so true. I cannot add anything, that hasn´t been said. I have known Tom my whole life. He will be deeply missed. The memories, I get to keep forever. See you on the other side Tom.

I will always cherish the wonderful and crazy times singing with Tom in the Caledonia Honors Choir. Tom always had a friendly smile, a beautiful voice, and a kind heart. He made everything more fun just by being himself. Doug and I are so sorry for your loss. P.S. Sorry for the poor quality photo, but it's from 1981. That's Tom peeping behind my shoulder.

I´m very thankful to have known Tom early in my career as he instilled in me an appreciation for detail and gave me lots of opportunities to grow. I´m so sorry for your loss and he will be sorely missed.

Tom, you made a lasting impression on many, including those of us up in Houghton back in the UDC days.

My condolences for your loss. Tom will surely be missed.
