Thomas M. "Libby" Liberto

Thomas M. "Libby" Liberto, 58, of Bangor, passed away, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 as the result of an automobile accident. Born in Easton, May 9, 1957, he was the son of John Liberto of Roseto and the late Betty (Trewin) Liberto. Libby was employed as a bus driver for STA, serving the Bangor Area School District, he was also a self-employed carpet installer. He was a graduate of Pius X High School and was life member of the Roseto Legion, a member of the Roseto Rod and Gun Club and the Pen Argyl Republican Club. For many years he was a member of the Slate Belt Quiot League, playing for the Roseto Legion. He also enjoyed watching his son and grandson wrestle, and he was also a devoted NASCAR and N.Y. Giants fan. In addition to his father John, he is survived by his wife, Cynthia A. (Lorenzo) Liberto of Pen Argyl, a daughter, Jessica Lorenzo of Bath, a son, Thomas J. Liberto of Pen Argyl, a grandson Alex Scebes, and two sisters, Mary M. Liberto of Roseto and Kathy Odenwelder and her husband Chuck of Pen Argyl. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Demetrius Scebes, and a brother John G. Liberto. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 from 1 until 5 PM at the Roseto Rod and Gun Club, 30 Shooktown Road, Bangor, PA.
