Not sure what to say?

Tom and I worked together in the lab at UCSF for many years. Really appreciated Tom for his quiet manner and respectful attitude toward all who worked with him. Sending much love to Tom as he travels on and to his Partner, Eric ; may you both experience deep Peace in this transitional time. all blessings......

I will remember Tom's infectious laugh and his unbridled enthusiasm for the musicals/plays he went to and all the multitude of books he read. He has been a very dear friend for over 30 years, and he will be greatly missed.

Tom was a good friend who always made me smile!

I have many warm memories of Tom. He was such a character, loved to joke around, had an infectious laugh which I can still hear in my mind. I could always count on Tom to brighten up my day. Those times at work, trading sarcastic insults with each other, our random chitchats about whatever, just the best guy all around. He will be dearly missed.

My deepest condolence. Tom was like a big brother and mentor to a lot of us, and that's not only in the lab alone. I learnt from him how to be strong and brave as an individual living in this society. I will miss him dearly.

It was always such a pleasure running into Tom, when walking through the Labs. His calm, intelligent competence was appreciated by all. What a gentle man and always a gentleman.

Dear Eric: Please accept our deepest condolences over Tom´s passing. Our thoughts are with you during this sad time. Bob & Deri Miller ( Doria Mindrup's sister and Brother-in-Law)

I will always remember going to Subways with Tom on our lunch break at work to get their special of the day (Italian BMT) on Thursdays. Condolences to Eric and Tom´s loved ones. He will be missed.

We always looked forward to seeing Tom when we were through San Francisco, or when he and Eric were coming through Chicago. A more thoughtful person never walked the face of the Earth, and his broad knowledge and quick wit made every visit enjoyable. Condolences to Eric as well as Tom's family.
