Not sure what to say?

Thomas Ligon was my neighbor for the first fourteen years of my life-- basically my entire boyhood. My family knew him as "Mr. Tom." Growing up, visiting Mr. Tom would be a weekly fixture for the family.

Trips to Mr. Tom's house are among some of my earliest childhood memories-- sitting in Tom's cozy living room watching he and my mother talk while I attempted to coax Tom's cat, Morris, into letting me pet him. He always had a cat (or two) on hand, and never minded letting our...

To the entire Ligon family I am sorry for your loss. I remember Mr. Ligon growing as a young girl in Moulton.May God be with you at this time.

Terri, Josh and Joe,

I was so very sorry to learn of Mr. Tom's death. I am so sorry that I cannot be with you today. I am sorry I am so far away.

Mr. Tom was one of the best men that I have ever known. In the summer he provided my family with vegetables. In fact, I know he provided many people in the community with vegetables. He was always sharing with others.

Uncle Tom and Snooks would take me down to the Sheriff's Department and show me around, and the detectives gave me inofrmation about illegal drugs and taught me how to be safe. Little did Tom, Snooks and John know that all three of them would be major influences in my life later on, when...

Sorry for your loss-Suzanne
