I knew Tom from the Bike Trail. I always heard his squeaky breaks as he pulled to a stop for a friendly "hello". In addition to his daily rides and cheerful presence, he also was vigilant about picking up litter. It made a difference! When Tom broke his arm a few years ago and was absent for a bit, a friend commented that the Bike Trail looked so messy. I told her that Tom had not been out. I miss his friendly conversation! I knew Tom from Arlington. He was a very kind and friendly fellow. The world was a better place because Tom was here. Ease and grace radiated from the quiet man, who always had a joke or cheerful way. Blessings Tom on your way home. We´ll meet again in another place.
