Not sure what to say?

Dear Grace, Peter and Patricia (I've not had the honor of meeting Patricia),

What a joy it was to know your father/husband and have him (and Grace) faithfully attend my Silver Sneakers classes for several years. When we talked about our favorite movies and he found out I had never seen Wuthering Heights, he quickly brought me a video to watch - while that movie may not be my favorite - it will always remind me of Thomas, as will many things.

From what I know of Thomas he...

Mrs. Liu, Paulette, Patricia and Peter, we're so sorry to hear of Thomas' passing. He was a fine man! I know he will be greatly missed.

We lost Dad three years back, and adjusted to this gradually as time went on. I think Janice Williams' words are beautiful, especially "...[it is] really not too long till we will all join one another in joy." I believe that! Wishing you comfort in the days ahead--

Laura Ruede and the Ruede family

Dearest Grace, how my heart is saddened by your loss of such a sweet man. He will always be an inspiration to me to keep on striving ahead, no matter the sacrifice. That's what several members of the Y have said to me this week. What a great man.

To all of the Family members of Tommy Liu:

To all who knew him, he will be sorely missed. I have not seen him or any of the family for many, many years, but, we as a family have many remembrances during our growing up years through Gambrell Street Baptist Church, multiple school functions, piano recitals and more. You all have been a delight to know and highly inspiring with a great deal of integrity.

The grieving process takes awhile as my family learned after our own loss...

Dear Auntie Grace & Cousins,

We are much saddened by the passing of our dear Uncle. Unfortunately I am on a business trip and can't come to Fort Worth to be with you and send Uncle on his last journey, but my heart and prayers are certainly with you.

Uncle Tom has meant a lot to me through my childhood, and I regret not being able to spend more time with him.

I will definitely come to visit you at the first available opportunity.

Love always,

Dear Grace and Family,
I am sorry to hear your lose of Tom. I apologize for unable to attend the memorial services for Tom to pay our tributes and my grateful respect. He was such a great Christian leader for our Chinese Community in the Fort Worth area. I still remember when I was still in High School that Tom started the Chinese Church and took care and entertain us kids (Grace Chang, Jody, Annie, Louis and me) in many church activities. Tom will certainly be missed by all of us.

Peter,
Kathy and I were saddened to learn of the passing of your father this week. While we never had the honor of meeting him, he must have been a remarkable man, husband, and father, as evidenced through your character. You, your family, and especially your Mom, will be in our prayers. May God's blessings be with you.

What sweet, sweet memories of Mr. Liu. What a kind, loving and gracious man. My love and prayers are with you all.

I was very saddened to see that Tommy had passed away. I always considered "Mr. Liu" to be an A-1 gentleman and one of my friends. He was intelligent, honest and had a good sense of humor. You have lost a part of your family, and you shall miss him greatly, as I will likewise. May God's blessings be will all of you.
Sincerely,
D.A. Atchley (Tax Accountant)
