Not sure what to say?

Wishing the Locker family much support from family, faith and friends. I have the privilege of the presence of a sketch of Katterskill Falls in my home which raises the spirits every time I study it- especially for the few minutes in the early morning. Direct sunlight, pouring in through a small leaded glass window high up on an eastern wall, hits the painting for no more than 5 minutes. Sky Tree will always be one of my favorite books. I used it for many years in my classroom to teach students about the many seasons in nature and the seasons of life. Your beautiful works will continue to paint a picture for many as they go through the seasons of their lives. Thank you.

One of my child's most rewarding and fondest memories is of spending time with Mr. Locker at a workshop on landscape painting and receiving an inscribed copy of Hudson. In sharing his artistic talents, inspirational writings, and generosity of spirit he has left a legacy of young people who have the opportunity to see beauty in all that surrounds them and a willingness to explore nature. Thank you for this most precious gift.

Thomas Locker will continue to inspire me and my students as I share his picture books year after year. He has made a lasting impression that will live on forever!

THE STUDENTS OF KINGSTON CITY SCHOOLS WERE FORTUNATE TO HAVE MET AND LEARNED FROM MR. LOCKER.AS AN EDUCATOR I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR HIS ENDURING COMMITMENT TO SOPHISTICATED LITERATURE FOR YOUNG AND OLD ALIKE. SO MANY WONDERFUL LESSONS HAVE AND WILL EVOLVE FROM STUDYING HIS WORKS. THANK YOU.

I always loved sharing Mr.Locker's beautiful images and words with my students. He made an impact on their view of the world. What a great gift he has given us all. My sympathies to his family.
