Thomas Long Jr. Natchez, MS Funeral services for Thomas Long Jr. 82 of Natchez, MS formerly of Oak Grove, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Unity Baptist Church in Delhi with Bro. Garan Lively and Bro. Gary Lively officiating. Visitation will be held at Unity Baptist Church on Tuesday from Noon until time of services. Burial will be in the Faith Memorial Park Cemetery in Delhi under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mr. Long was a native of Lake Providence, LA and operated an Electrical Repair and also an Alternator and Starter Shop in Oak Grove and then Natchez. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Long Sr. and Addie Lucille Massey Long and a sister Essie Louise Forbes. Thomas is survived by two children Thomas Long III and wife Barbara and Elizabeth Nosser all of Natchez, MS; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; five sisters (who he lovingly called "Thomas's Angels") Shirley Jay and Flora Lively of Delhi, LA, Levelle Walker of Meredian, MS, Letha Bailey of Vicksburg, MS and Retha Jenkins of Delta, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
