I knew Tom for many years. We first met in 1972 when he was doing a street show every Saturday or Sunday off Melrose Ave in LA. He painted old "funking" buildings and cars back then in water color. Americana art. In some respects we grew together. When he and David Halbach and others that were doing LA street shows back then turned to western art, I did as well. I have 5 or 6 of his paintings. We went backpacking once in the High Sierra. He taught me a lot about art; how to view it, how to...

My name is Susan. I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Thomas. I am an artist as well. I just bought his painting "Rainy Days and Mondays". I was blown away by his beautiful artwork and felt compelled to buy this piece when I saw it. I am an avid horse lover and love the whole concept of Cowboys and Indians. His pieces are gorgeous. I know his spirit is with God and his artwork is an eternal flame that burns bright. Rest in Peace Thomas. Namaste

How very sad I was to not see Thomas at his usual booth space at Phippen Museum last weekend of May. He was my delightful and so inspiring artist neighbor at the show yearly. We both were diagnosed with cancer about same time and I so hoped we would both win the battle. I know he is in Heaven with fellow master artists and now being a guardian angel to help me continue my battle against uterine cancer. RIP dear kind Thomas ...the art world and I will miss you greatly.

Thomas will be greatly missed. I met him at Calvary Chapel in Cottonwood, AZ in 1997 and we dated for over a year. Each Sunday after church we would go to breakfast then he would help me stock my antique booth in Prescott, AZ and we would come back to my place in time for dinner. I enjoyed hiking with him and sharing his tradition for Chinese food on New Year's Eve and remember when he got the call his son was injured on New Year's Eve one year. We remained friends and we last spoke around...
