From Robert Mills Cavalier Hotel Doorman I've worked at two hotels owned by the Lyons family, & had the privilege of coming in contact with Mr. Lyons on many occasions; a warm, & personable individual. Condolences to the family. Robert Mills

In honor of this remarkable man, Tom, the IHG Commercial Edge team has donated to the Norfolk Academy. We are proud to have known and worked with this accomplished man. Thank you and rest in peace. We want to send our thoughts to his family and friends.

Tom was a great friend for nearly 50 years. He was a creative icon in our business and one of my favorite clients when I was in franchise operations with Holiday Inns in the late '70s. He was a tremendous help to me in starting Newport Hospitality Group in 1990. Thank you, Tom, for your counsel and friendship. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.
