Not sure what to say?

tom think of you always....

Tom is the Irish uncle I never had. Such a great guy in the short time I knew him. Tom, times now are not the same. We had it good. RIP.

Tom was a very good friend of mine, I traveled the world with him and much more. God bless

Tom was a great man. He loved telling Mo and I about his travels and had a way of describing these adventures in a way that you could imagine being in that place. I will miss his smile and kind, thoughtful, gentle ways.

Tom's son Sean was my best friend in high school. One night in 1977, Tom took Sean and me to the Foxhead Inn in Ada, MI to hear jazz for the first time! I was immediately and forever changed! I am now a successful professional jazz musician. I've traveled all over the world performing jazz with a myriad of jazz superstars. I teach jazz music at Wayne State University. I lead my own big band. I still love jazz music. And I owe all of this to Tom Maguire who gave me my start in jazz. I'll bet...

My mentor... I'm not quite so sure of what he helped me with more, work or life, but he was a true advisor and friend for both. He proved that colleagues can't be friends was bunk, no matter what they teach in business school. He was forever helpful to my family and will be sorely missed.

I worked with Tom for many years at the U.S. Dept. of Commerce (he was also my boss for an interim period when he managed both the GR and Milwaukee offices). He was a great guy who seemed to thoroughly enjoy his life, one of the greatest gifts anyone can have. He will be very much missed by all of us. Since I am now retired, I only just now learned of his passing. May God comfort you in your time of bereavement.

Maureen, Kathleen, Brian, and Sean –
I just learned of your father's passing yesterday and I am so sorry for your loss. Fortunately I had the opportunity to see him 2 years ago as I drove through the old neighborhood, and there he was outside so I stopped and we visited with each other for a while. It was a refreshing conversation - as always, and he was so proud of each of his children as he waxed praise upon each of your success in living life to its fullest.

I will always...

Tom was very caring and gracious to all,his wisdom ,wit and genuine concern for others will sincerely be missed.
