Not sure what to say?

Little League baseball, Epiphany and Heelan basketball, endless pickup games. Tom threw a wicked curve ball at age 12 and had a great basketball shooting touch. You would lose money betting against his 25 foot set shot. His feet may have been a tad slow on defense, but his mind was very quick in the classroom. A kind, gracious and fun person, Tom was universally well liked and did not have conflicts with other people. I have not talked to Tom in 30+ years, but news of his passing...

Tom's daughter, Monica, talked about how important his church was to him. From the stories she has shared of him, we know he was a great man and very loved. We have made a donation in Tom's name to Mepkin Abbey. You are all in our hearts during this difficult time. Sincerely, Hunt Club Elementary

Too many memories to share regarding Tom, but always a dear friend. Great memories of playing baseball and Calvary cemetery. Loved his family. Rest In Peace my dear friend. Love John Gunia

Oh what fun we used to have in Sioux City! One of the times I remember was watching the Friday night horror movie on KCAU after a Heelan football game when one Boris Karloff movie was so scary, Tom and I both screamed! Then every time we'd look at each other, we'd laugh, but we were still a little freaked out and that launched another round of giggles. I would often ride to Sioux City with Tom in his light blue Beetle to work at the Memorial Field concession stand for the Friday night...

We both attended part of our grade school years and all of our high school years with Tom. He was always a wonderful and caring guy, as well as a great friend! Our condolences go out to his entire family... God Bless Tom & His Family, Jim Harrington & Cathy (Mangold) Harrington

As a neighbor and school classmate of Tom I am saddened to hear of his passing. He was one of the youngest in our class but had great aspirations as one of the smartest After I returned from Vietnam I ran into Tom at church and they asked if I wanted to buy an Irish Setter pup. I immediately fell in love with that setter. Really a great companion Please accept our sincerest condolences May he Rest in Peace

Tom had a love for Operation Christmas Child; a joy to serve as a Year Round Volunteer with him.

Prayers and condolences to all the family. I remember him doing the readings at Christ Our King and also when he worked at Amoco with Bill Bradley (another lost way too soon). May your beautiful memories reduce the sadness at this time. Sincerely, The Weavers

Rest In Peace Tom. I miss your leadership while you were the Area Coordinator for Operation Christmas Child and I appreciate your kindness. You will be missed. Condolences to Janet and your family.
