i'm so sorry i just found out the news on my buddy tom mahar. i was trying to reconnect with the mahar family. tom and ann came to my wedding. i was a young oscar mayer salesman with my first job in syracuse. the mahar's took me in as if i was part of their family. i spent holidays with them and played on their softball teams. i loved tom mahar. i wanted to get a hold of him to tell him how much he meant to me. ill tell the family...thanks for being so kind to me. i loved your dad! god bless...

So sorry to have heard of your dad and Grandpa passing on. We just sat behind him in church a couple weeks ago. I feel for your loss and wish you all great memories. God Bless!

He always put others ahead of himself... he truly upheld and epitomized "The Golden Rule".

Tom candidly shared his many positive life experiences in order to help others through difficult times.

I worked with Tom for many years at the OCSD. I will always have fond memories of our long talks at the DSBA union meetings. I am sorry for your loss. He was a great man.
