Not sure what to say?

Our condolences and prayers to Toms family. He was a great Comiteeman, Boss, and Mentor. Those of us that knew and worked with him are the better for it. Tom, I'll bet you were in Heaven an hour and a half before the devil knew you you were gone.
Jim & Chris Maslak

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Maher family. Tommy will be greatly missed around the firehouse and especially on Saint Patricks Day. I was honored to serve as part of the Honor Guard at his wake. Rest in Peace Tommy, you will be missed.

To all of the Maher family, So sorry to hear about the loss of Tommy. My husband, Phil McDermott, and Tommy were cousins and the best of friends. Oh, the stories they told! It was always a treat to have a gathering of the McDermott and Maher families. Last saw Tommy at Carol Jean Borland Centore's wake and he talked up a storm. I always felt better about myself after I talked to Tommy. God bless you all and I know God and Phil will be waiting at that golden gate for their final...

Sheila, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Though we knew Tom for only a short period of time,it was clear that he was a good fellow and a great man.Our sympathy to the family.

To the Maher Family,
I worked with Tom during the 1980's at the Union Hall. When I went out on "strike" Tom was the first one there to help me. Now I live in Michigan with my husband, Al Bucci, another Skilled Tradesmen, who also has fond memories of Tom. Thank you Tom for all you did, and may God grant you eternal peace!
Al and Lee Bucci

Tommy was a very special cousin. I will always remember his soft kind voice and the twinkle so often in his eye. He was very close to my mom Gertrude Maher Gates and so the rest of us. I was sad to see him grieving for my mom this past July 2012 and grateful that Sheila was able to bring him all the way to Arlington. I know it must have been a challenge. Most of all, I will remember the laughter and feeling of the Maher clan and how honored I feel to be part of it. His passing will be a loss...
