Malik, Thomas R. age 95, of Mpls, passed away December 16, 2008. Preceded in death by son, Michael; sister, Isabelle; and brothers, James and John. Survived by wife of 75 years, Genevieve; sons, Gregg (Faye Watson) and Thomas (Nancy); grandchildren, Christine (Phil), Kathy (Phil), Gregg (Kathleen), Mark (Megan), Michaun (Steve), Leslie (Dave), Monte, Jennifer (Nate), Jodi (David), and Tommy (Molly); 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eva, Julia, and Fran; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Tom was a member of Knights of Columbus 4th Degree and founder of the family service station of 75 years. Memorials preferred to the church. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at 10:30 AM with visitation 1 hour prior at St. Austin Catholic Church, 41st & Thomas Ave. N., Mpls. Visitation also Sunday, Dec. 21 from 3-6 PM, at: Washburn-McReavy Robbinsdale Chapel 763-537-2333 4239 West Broadway

Our prayer for all of you is Peace & Comfort @ your loss. The memories & love are only yours. Tom will always remain a well respected man. He leaves a wonderful legacy to you all. As a friend & business associate of my father, (Max), and all the guys @ M&I for nearly 60yrs. our entire family feel the end of an era. We share this huge loss, but are honored to have known your, Father, grampa, truly "The Malik" guy! Blessings to you all.
