Thomas Wallace "Bull" Manson

In case someone wanders by. Just a few pictures from 71 or 72 Scout trips. I think the first three are from a Superstitions through hike (Star and above bonus hike, Peralta trailhead to Canyon Lake) and the fourth is Tom talking to one of the parent drivers on another Saturday morning, possibly along the General Crook Trail turnoff at I-17, headed through Camp Verde possibly to Wet Beaver. Tom, thanks for everything you and the other leaders and parents did for us.

Bull was an outstanding mentor, and although I didn't realize it then he had a tremendous influence on my personal growth. He never lost his "inner child," and so even serious situations were fun. I remember him encouraging me to become the troop's "unofficial chaplain." He was always there, always providing help and encouragement. It's hard to imagine one person doing all that he did, in Scouts, in other community organizations, and with his family as well.

I know he will be sorely missed by all. Love and prayers to all the family as well as Irish Blessings.
