Not sure what to say?

I didn't know you well, though I've always felt connected. I knew you best through Tod, who only spoke the highest of the man he has told me was his best friend in the world. I would hope my children would say that about me. What an honor. I am sad that my friend, and your son, is so lost without you, and know that you left a lasting impact on this world. Rest high on that mountain, Mr. Maples. Peace be with you, and all who love you.

Mr. Maples. You were a very kind gentleman and I loved giving you a hard time. You were always kind to me and lightened my day. You will be missed.

His speech was already compromised by the time I met him, but it didn't stop him from teasing me about the red convertible Mustang in the shop that I loved! What a nice man! My heart aches for the family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I extend my Deepest Sympathy for your loss. My dad always spoke fondly of his neighbors and was proud to call them his friends.
-Sarah Bartholomew Walder

Tom was a great man that loved his classic cars and he had some sweet ones. There was a time that you would see him at every car event. Although a stroke I think it was took his speech and limited movement of one arm it didn't slow him down you would still see him at car shows. I will always remember talking to him and his reply "I know it". Tom was a good man may he Rest In Peace. Sorry to the family for there loss.

Sarah, Craig, Tod, Scott and Robbie...So sorry to hear of the passing of Tom. When he had his stroke 30 or so years ago, I thought that life as he knew it would be over. How wrong I was! Tom kept living life to the fullest. It was always so much fun hanging around with Tom and Sarah, and they were always such gracious hosts. You were loved and respected by those who love their cars, especially classic automobiles. May God wrap his arms around the Maple's family to bring you peace in this...

Tod, Craig, and the entire Maples family, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Muggs. We all loved him; he was such a nice guy. And very darn funny, too! I'm so sorry for all of you.

My father knew Mr. Maples from way back. He gave me a 65 Chevy that needed a lot of exterior work. Mr. Maples told me what to do to prep for a paint job for my car. After frequent trips to check my work he was finally OK with my many hours of sanding. He did a great paint job for me, and my first car made me very proud to drive. Thanks to Mr. Maples I learned something and appreciated what I had accomplished, but couldn't have without him. I'll never forget him and what he done for a 16 year...

Robby, Scott and Maples family,

I'm sorry to hear of the lose of your father (Tom). Growing up on Pershing Street, Maples Collision was practically in my back yard and part of the old stomping ground.
