Read MoreSorry that this is a bit late, but I just found out about Tom's passing a couple of days ago from our mutual friend, Tom Barnett, who lives here in Midland. Both Toms and I worked in telecommunications for many years, including the third Tom, Tom Allen who was also at KLBK with Tom. It's hard to believe that there will no long be a Tom Martin involved in telecomm or law enforcement. I know he'll be missed.

Tom was the oldest cousin on my father's side of the family. We did not see Tom and Karen often because they did not live close by. However, my husband and I took the time in April of 2014 to drive from Austin to Lubbock to see Tom and Karen and Sally and Rod for dinner and lots of conversation.
