Wow! I tried to reach "uncle wes", who was my dad's (Gilbert M Mason) cousin a few weeks ago by phone and got no answer. Now I know why. What a career and what a character! I always enjoyed being in the room with both you and my dad listening to the conversations. There were so many stories and none repeated!
This "non-relative" will miss you. You were indeed an unforgettable character.
Now I will feel free to read all the letters he left me that were written to "aunt frances"...
