To the family of Dr Mason,
I just recently became aware of Toms passing. I had know him since 1991 when he came to see my pig that had a belly
ache and then again in 1993 for a mare that required stitching. That day he told me that his son had recently passed away in an accident. Tom spent hours talking to my husband and me. We were fond of him and saw what a good person he was. He was our friend and our vet and we will miss him.

I served with Tom in the Veterinary Corps, most recently spent the better part of a day with him at Ft Sam Houston in 2008. Tom was a great officer and compassionate outstanding man. We're shocked to hear of Tom's passing. He'll be greatly missed by all his friends in the Army.

I attended veterinary school with Tom at A & M., so I remember his demonstrations of skill and speed in treating and shoeing a horse hoof. The man worked his way through veterinary school and took care of his sons. I admired his focus. I've read the entries in this guest book, so I also know the deep impressions he left among his friends. I wish for all of you, family and friends to find peace and maybe some comfort in the way he touched the lives of so many. David Kahn, Dallas
