steve forester told me today that tommy passed away, i was shocked at the news, he was a great guy. the many times i met tommy, he always told me how he loved you and your son. he wilol be greatly missed. I am keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Sharon I was really shocked to hear about Tommy passing. I didn'tknow Tommy was your husband. He was one of the nicest people I came in contact with at Cox.I'll keep you & Dylan in my prayers. Just remember all the good memories you have.

To the Mayeux family: I was the administrative support person in the HR department at Cox when Training came under our department. I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with and provide support for Tommy. He was always sweet and polite and, even though it was my job, he always hated asking me to do anything for him and was always so appreciative even for the most insignificant things I did for him. I remember his enthusiasm and eagerness to put all of his ideas into practice....

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Tommy's passing. Even though I never worked directly with Tommy we did cross paths and he did help me with some customer issues. I always remembered his smile and beautiful teeth. I thought "Man, when I get my braces off I want my teeth to look like his." Cox Communications was lucky to have Tommy. Mrs. Mayeaux and family I hope one day when the pain and shock is gone you all can smile when you think of the great person he was. My God bless your family.

It is with great sadness that I stand in front of you today to remember the life of our cousin & nephew Tommy, or as we all called him “Tee” or “T-Bone”. Losing someone you love is never easy, but when their life is taken away at such a young age, it is that much more difficult. Tommy had a lot left to accomplish, and it is sad that he isn't here with us to continue his conquests. Today, we should not focus on the grief, but instead celebrate his life. ...

2/7/2013 - Dear Friends in Christ, a few words about Thomas Mayeux, Jr. My relationship with Tommy Jr. is somewhat unique. First, as an uncle, he made me proud that as a member of the Mayeux family; his family concerns were foremost in his early years. Secondly, Tommy was somewhat of a son to me, as he spent a lot of his growing years with myself, Maria, Mark, Justin and later Spencer. Even as a young man, he was always respectful, humble and honest in his dealings with others. Not so...

Rest in Peace T, I've known you since you were a teenager. You grew into a fine young man. My prayers goes out to your wife & child, Cheryl, Tommy and Nicole. May you all find peace, trust in God and prayer. Just take things one day at a time and cherish all your memories you have of T. That is what I have been doing since I lost Tony.

Today by far was one of the toughest days of my life. However the kind words, wonderful stories, and the tribute that Cox presented lightens my heart a little. I knew Tommy was a great man the day I met him. It gives me such pride that everyone else knew this too! I am so thankful to our Cox Family, St Dominic Family and all of our friends and family. Words cannot express my gratitude. Dylan and I could not have done this without all of you.
