My husband and I were saddened to hear that Tom had passed. Tom was such a brilliant and insightful member of the Huntsville Planning Commission and the Citizens Advisory Committee of the Metropolitan Planning Organization. He was first appointed to these positions by Mayor Steve Hettinger. This was when the city of Huntsville first began meaningful long range city planning with the new mayor´s initiative of Vision 2000.
