Not sure what to say?

What a fine tribute to "papa".... Family and friends all walking down Fairfield Avenue towards St. John Fisher Church to celebrate his life at a beautiful and touching mass. I think Michael said it all when he said one could go on all day sharing memories and endless stories about his dad. Uncle Tom always had a warm smile, and kind word and often a corny joke whenever he greeted you.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Aunt Marion, all her children and their families. We will all...

Dear Marion and Marybeth:
Sylvia and Norman in England are thinking about you and send their condolences.

Our love and prayers for you Marion and the whole wonderful McDermott family. Our friendship goes back many years with wonderful thought of the times Frank and I had with you and Tom.

Our sincerest condolences to all. It was always a pleasure to have one of the McDermott children around. Your fine family is a tribute to Tom.

To Carol, Mrs. McDermott and all the McDermott Family-

The Bassett, Bisinger, Booker and Shea Families are sorry to hear of your loss and send our prayers and condolences.

I mainly had brief conversations with your Dad over the phone, however, I know Carol loved her father deeply, and from the stories she relayed, knew he was a great guy.

Our prayer and thoughts are with Carol, her Mom, Marian, and all the family. I also know from Carol you are a close...

To the McDermott Family ~

You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

With Heartfelt Sympathy -
Your Neighbors, The Quaid Family

To Mike, Maura & the McDemott Family:

The sorrow you feel is many years of love. May the memories you have of Tom bring you all emotional strength and be everlasting.

Our deepest sympathy,

Uncle Tom was always one with a warm heart, a hearty handshake and a thoughtful question about family or friends.

Growing up, he used to always ask about our dog Wolfgang. Funny thing is that wasn't our dog's name. Uncle Tom knew that, but loved to joke around, especially with the kids.

The Caraher family sends our love and condolences to the McDermott family.

The Crocker family sends its condolences to the entire McDermott Clan. Tom was a great man, an imposing presence and a wonderful addition to any gathering. All of his children are a credit to him and Marion. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. May he rest in peace.
