I had Mr. McDonough for my homeroom teacher at Tech from 1973-76. I had a lot of respect for him and the way he conducted himself. I always felt you would be treated fairly by him.

Mr. McDonough was a very good man. I don't know how, but he always put up with us kids when we were young, he was tough yet fair. I always admired him and his stories about WWII. He will be missed very much by everyone. My condolences to his family.
