Read MoreI taught in the Elizabeth school system with Tom for almost 30 years, at House C, and Battin Middle School. He was a great mentor and jokingly referred to me as his student teacher. He could be deadly serious, and yet had a wonderful sense of humor. He spoke often of his family and loved them dearly. Know that he will be greatly missed by his Battin family as well.

I wish to offer my condolences to the Thomas McGoohan Family on the untimely passing Tom. Tom was an awesome educator as well as wonderful human being. He will be missed by all that knew him.
