Tom McGurk was a good Pal at Champaign H,S.
He played next to me on the line for the school football team in 1960.
He and I made a special cross block to spring our
halfback for a touchdown against our dreaded rival Urbana, and we won the game.
During college days we drove from Champaign IL
to his home in Florida where we spent time
water skiing and summer partying.
Rarely saw him since, maybe once at a reunion.

I worked with Tom at the Dept of Management Services and the Agency for Workforce Innovation. I so admired his honesty, integrity, true caring and concern for his staff, and his leadership! He truly was a great person and I am honored to have had an opportunity to know him and work with him.
