I wish I could be there to give you a big hug, Heather & family. I am so sorry for your loss- I do recall your Dad treating us really well when he came to visit in Halifax and my father was always proud of the fact that your Dad looked him up when he was in North Sydney way back when. What a nice person- you will cherish the memories I am sure.

Frances, Heather and family I extend my heartfelt sympathy
at your loss. It was a pleasure to have met Roger and to have enjoyed his company and generosity of spirit. Roger was a true gentleman.

Kathleen and family, I am so sorry to hear abour your Dad's passing. I know he fought hard for a very long time. I pray that you all find peace knowing he is at peace and enjoying life, with a brand new perfect body in the presence of our Father in Heaven. May God comfort all of you during this time. Sheila

Frances, Heather and family. Deepest sympathies from the McCalls. Roger was a good friend of my dad's and a great next door dad to me. I will always have fond memories of St. Sauveur and Lac Echo.

To our large and extended family,
Although unable to be there today, know that we are there in spirit. Our tears and smiles will mix with yours and hugs and kisses sent in love. We will sadly miss our chats and jokes with Roger but are thankful that he is finally pain free and has found peace in heaven. All our love, Judy and Hideo Konaka

Grandma,
I am sad to hear about Grandpa Roger passing. It was always great seeing you and grandpa on your visits to our house. Grandpa has gone to a better place and now he can rest. For those who can attend the service tomorrow his distant family is thinking of him and all of you as well. Take care and keep smiling.

McKeown Family,
I was a great fan and admirer of Roger and I will miss his memorable laugh and uplifting spirit. My condolences...
