Read MoreEven though I haven't seen Chip (Tom) in several years, I've enjoyed our occasional e-mail exchanges about the goings-on at Rancho Despoblado. He was always an environmentalist before it was in vogue. He also had a great sense of humor, and was always a very thoughtful person to all whom knew him. I will greatly miss him.
