I used to listen to " Tom from Delaware " on ABC Radio Nightline here in Sydney Australia. He always rang in for the 25 question quiz. We got to know him through this. His knowledge was amazing & he never complained about his health. I was listening to the quiz last night & thought, I hadn't heard him on radio for a long time & did wonder if he had passed over. He's missed by his " nightline pals". Rest in Eternal Peace "Tom from Delaware".

I remember the first time I met Tom, he had just moved into the neighborhood on Orchard Heights. We became good friends and when he locked himself out of his bedroom I showed him how to use a bobby-pin to open his door. I was privileged to have enjoyed his company a couple years ago in St. Joseph, Mo. we talked about our lives and how things had changed and I told him to follow his heart and I know that he was really happy to have the time with Nancy. My God bless you Tom and I will see you...

As a friend of Nancy’s, I had the pleasure of meeting Tom this past year. He was a wonderfully kind man, and he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

Tom, you will be greatly missed. When we were young I would pretend you were my big brother. Many things you said to me in my youth still come to my mind today.
