Not sure what to say?

We are sorry for your loss. The Thanksgiving we spent at your house in 1989 was more fun than three law students should. Have ever. We love your dad! Pat Doherty. Mark. Murphy. Bob. Bush

My sympathies to the McQuade family. I remember working with Judge McQuade in the court and he was always great to work with. He was always kind to me and made me feel like it was ok to talk with the judges. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

Sorry I missed Judge Tom's funeral. Didn't know he died until today. As proprietor of Manhattan's Deli I had the privilege of providing food for some of his juries and he was always so gracious and appreciative as well as being an in-house customer. Always was a joy to see him.

In short, Judge McQuade was special. He was one of my adjunct professors at Creighton Law when I was a student. His intellect, wit and genuine caring greatly impacted us to such a point that our very close knit group of friends invited him to a dinner to celebrate graduation. His special way of imparting wisdom remained with us throughout our legal careers. When I later became a judge myself, I used much of what I learned from him in my court. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Tom brightened any day our paths crossed. I just heard of his passing from a retired courthouse person who said, "He was my favorite." Many share that sentiment. Love and prayers to his beautiful family.

Dear McQuade Family, I am sorry Tom has departed. He was gruff & warm, and opinionated & open all at the same time. Incredible legal & practical mind. Hardworking but loved to have fun. The World lost a legend. Godspeed Judge McQuade

Im so sorry to hear of Judge McQuade´s passing. I really enjoyed seeing him at the Interlude after he retired. I became involved in a precedent setting guardianship case he had ruled on after his retirement, so we regularly talked about that and other interesting probate cases over the years. I´m glad I saw him one last time in November when I was visiting and had the opportunity to meet his wife. His quick wit and intelligent conversation will be missed by many.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was a good guy, funny guy, and well liked by the Judiciary.

To the McQuade family: I am so very sorry for your loss! No one was more fun to be around than Tom. I am sure going to miss him and hope he saves me a seat wherever he´s going so I can continue laughing with him forever. Prayers to all of you
