Just heard of Tom's passing a few weeks ago. I was fortunate to have spent some time with he and his lovely wife on a trip through Switzerland in Austria back in 1997 when I was a very young man. Tom was one of the good guys. His great stories about the banking days opened my eyes to a whole world out there. I'm so sad that he's gone, but so grateful to have known him. Just heard the sad news of Tom's passing. We worked together for over 25 years which affords me an unusually good vantage point to say that Tom earned the respect of all he interacted with, bankers, examiners and myself included. My condolences to Tom's wife and family.
