Not sure what to say?

This came up in my email on the anniversary of your passing. I was just telling someone the other day about what an amazing man and boss you were. My favorite job will always be working at OMVH with you. You were a compassionate teacher who taught me so many things. How to be a better human is at the top of the list. I miss you Tom. I pray for Judy and the boys all the time. Noelle Blair

Always kind, he did CPR on my 6 year old female star-pei who went into cardiac arrest, offered kind words and support when she passed. The big photo of him at the reception area always makes me smile

I remember bow hunting with Tom and very sad when he passed

When the Melzer boys were playing soccer, Tom told me that it was just a matter of time before one of them would break a leg or arm due to aggressive play.
I got an email about a week later that Tom had broken his leg, in a soccer match. Dr Tom did nothing half way!!!
RIP Dr. Melzer

Ah Thomas......I know your not being here this Christmas makes your family and friends sad with missing you. I truly wish you were still with us all. There wasn't and will never be anyone like you. Please be at sweet rest, Tom. You'll always be in my heart and I'll never forget you.

Your friend, Barb

Dr. Melzer, Many years ago I asked if I should even consider bringing my elderly epileptic dog Kody along on a multiday canoe trip. You were all for it! saying Kody will love it! Don't make him stay home because he's old and has seizures. Let him enjoy life. Kody did love the boat trip and other adventures before he left us with happy memories. You taught us a valuable lesson you knew so well. Thank you Tom for taking wonderful care of my pets and me for these 23 years. I'm so sad to say...

Dr. Tom will be missed by all who's heart he touched..........

When I first met Dr. Melzer in the summer of 2009, he cuddled with my maltipoo pup. It melted my heart to see someone who had so love and compassion for animals. You can see it in the way he played and held her. I hope the best for Dr. Melzer's family, may he rest in paradise with a lot of animals roaming around.

I am still out of words. Will truly miss this man.
