Thomas passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Thomas was a resident of Michigan at the time of passing. Memorial service will be held at St. Paul's on the Lake on Saturday January 20, 2018 at noon with visitation starting at 11:30.

It truly breaks my heart to lose such a champion for children. Tom served as chair of the education committee at the Detroit Urban League for many years. He was a "big brother" for decades to some of Detroit's most challenging youth, who as a result of his commitment became productive adult citizens.
