The Obituary states it well but just wanted to add another example of his influence. I met Dr. Messervy when I was just starting my career at W.S Hall Institute - often chatting with him when I saw him in the Main Building. He was just so friendly and so was Jill in OT. I left in 1980 but the atmosphere ,teaching ,and support OF ALL THE STAFF that I'm sure he assisted in creating is still part of me . I'm sure his family will feel his impact from heaven.
