Dear Judy,

I was very saddened to learn of Tom's passing. He was one of the most decent, genuine, and ethical managers I ever had at Parke-Davis. I learned a lot from him and respected him greatly. We accomplished a lot of good science under Tom's direction and I am very proud to have known and worked with him. I reflect fondly on “Mich's Rules, his dislike of computers, and most importantly his compassion and family values.

even if we have not been in touch for many years, I am touched at the loss of Tom. I still remember the beautiful time spend with Tom & you in Ann Arbor,the Florida Keys and Europe.
