Not sure what to say?

I´m ashamed for my delay in responding to you on the loss of Tom. I am still speechless and was surprised to learn that he was ill. I´m so sorry, Carolyn and family. It seemed that we had just spoken to each other; Tom with his love and wisdom and prudence always made me feel calm and peaceful. God bless him and you and his loved ones. Laurie

Tom was a high school classmate. we graduated from Roncalli High School in 1966. I was looking at the yearbook this morning and, in the section, where seniors were invited to share their life's ambition Tom wrote, "To make the best out of this short life for me and everyone around me." He reached his goal and then kept raising the bar. God bless you brother.

Carolyn, So sorry you have lost your Love-he was a heck of a man and we will remember him with a smile. I wish we would have had more trips to Oberweis! You took amazing care of him and I am glad I saw you before Christmas and was able to catch up. Please call if there is anything you need. Jim and Leigh Jackson

Our sincere sympathy to you, Carolyn, and all the family. Tom was such a wonderful, friendly man. He was always a joy to be around. The Lord has a special place for him. God bless all of you.

Dear All: As the "eldest" of my cousins, Tom was a sometimes baysitter for me and my siblings. We so enjoyed him and his game of "Roly-Poly", where he would lie prone on the floor, allow us to sit "straddled" in a linear line along his back (!) and then proceed to attempt to roll over with us on top of him! We are/were not small people, so I can only imagine how that must have felt! God bless you, Tom! I know I echo the sentiments of my parents and siblings! Love you and your family...

Carolyn, I used to work with you at St Joseph School and remember you and Tom as active members of the church. What a positive influence he was to the church. My condolences to the Michels family. Rest in Peace.

What a wonderful man Tom was. Always optimistic and joyful, ready with a laugh, always praising the Lord, and thankful for Carolyn and his family. How he will be missed. Claire Michels Pepper
