The most abiding memory I have of Tom is that laugh that started like a low rumble in his belly and grew into a slightly hoarse deep expression of mirth that took over his whole body. That laugh was synonymous with his deep sense of humanity and what it meant to be human.
The love and compassion he held for people, animals and nature is a true legacy.
He is greatly missed.
