Not sure what to say?

Tom was a gentleman.

I lost contact with Tom for a while, and just saw this sad news. We used to share sailing adventures with Tom and his ever present faithful dog. The world is a sadder place without his wit and wisdom.

A shock and sad to to hear of Tom's passing. He was a good companion on weekend outings exploring the history of Gettysburg and the Civil War and discussions thereafter. A great photographer. He will be missed.

I knew Tom for several years due to his interest in the Civil War, especially the Battle of Gettysburg. He was a good photographer who did a great job with several of my historical photo reenactments. He will be missed.

So very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I knew Tom from his days spent in Gettysburg. He was a very good historian and a great photographer. He will be sorely missed.

Jim and I were so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother, Tom. We loved reading about his interests and passions. I always found him interesting to talk to at our family gatherings. I know you cared for him very much and will miss him. I can't wait to give you a hug tomorrow at the service for him. Love, Lorraine

Prayers of sympathy to your family.
