Tom hired me to teach Economics at Iolani. He based his decision on a phone call from Korea and my resume teaching at West Point. Mahalo Tom! I loved my 20 years at Iolani!

Dear Rossie and Ward I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences for both of your parents who gave so much of their lives in service to others. They led heroic lives to make this world a better place. Your mom with arthritis, caring for infants impacted by effects of drugs at time of birth; and your Dad, with his illustrative military and educational careers. It was an honor to have met them. Captain Miller was an outstanding man as well as a CO. He had a commanding presence along with a fantastic sense of humor. He loved his crew and we loved him. Fair winds and following seas mighty Captain! Heaven´s gain is our profound loss here on earth.
