Not sure what to say?

Dear Dick,

We have "barely" gotten through this first year without you. I choose to think it is one year closer to seeing you again. I keep in contact with your family, especially Donna and Marlene. You would be happy to know that Donna stayed at "Motel 6" with me for a week in February. We talked about you and all of the things that you, others and I did together. We hugged and cried every day. It was so good for us to have each other during our first trip to Florida without you. ...

Donna,Jeff,Jill
We are so very sorry to hear of uncle Dick's passing. He was my favorite uncle and I was so happy when he offered to come to my house and marry my daughter and son in law Sabrina and Aidan. WE think of him often and we sometimes think he is in the house when the radio station goes out on us.He will be missed very much. If you need anything please don't hesitate to call.

Dick,
It's hard to believe it's been over six months since you left us with no notice. This has been the hardest thing I've ever had to live through. I have a hole in my heart that just doesn't seem to close.

So many things have happened that I've wanted you to be there for. I went to Lori and Pete's camp a few times this summer, but we missed you. Having the Democrats take over both houses just wasn't as much fun as it could have been if we could have argued about it. The...

Dad, all of our birthdays came & went without you here. As the seasons change, I often stop & think of all the things you missed doing with us such as Hunting w/ Jeff, visiting daily out by the pool, Band Concerts, Sports Awards,
Softball & soccer games, but i know you are watching. This has been the hardest reality I have had to face without you, but I took what you taught me about independence, honesty , patience and Life in

general and I am trying to get

through...

Our hearts are with your family in their loss of you. So many have looked to you for help and guidance in one way or another. Your friendship and the conversations we've shared will always be remembered, and your good deeds never forgotten.

Dad,Dick,Tom,
Today was your 68th Birthday and you were not here to be with us. When you left I thought you would be back in time for your birthday. When you didnt show up, we knew you were going to miss it. Now you left a hole in your heart, as we miss you everyday, I go to Donna's and her and Jill help me do the jumble and we need help somedays and wish you would be here to help. You are in your hearts and mind all the time. You are in urn on the counter with us. We Love and miss you....

I just found out about Tom's death this week and was saddened by the news. He worked for me at GE for many years on the OTH Program. I could always rely on Tom to do what ever I asked of him. I always listened to his enjoyable hunting stories.
If I had known about his death earlier, I would have been at his funeral.

ok so its been a month and a day since you have been gone... and it feels like its been forever.
The Funeral was pretty rough. There was a lot of people that u impacted in your life. People would walk in and say how they knew you or things like that. Mom is having a tough time still she goes to the lawyer like once a week and the accountant the same.
I have played a million ball games since you left, one almost every night. Basketball camp was very fun i got moved up to the WNBA,...
