Not sure what to say?

Tom was a wise, amusing, dedicated husband to my close friend Marilynn. I know he is missed dearly.

Dr. Miskovsky was my doctor who walked me through many surgeries to correct a failing spine. He was very kind and caring. We bonded over our Czech heritage. He tried to help solve the mystery of my family's original spelling of the family name that had been shortened and misspelled when arriving in the states. I have never forgotten him and remain thankful for his medical skills. On his last day of surgical rounds, when he retired from surgery, at St. Joes, he came into my room and he...

Did anesthesia for Tom in the 90's. A wonderful and engaging surgeon. My condolences to his family.

Sending Tom my thoughts and will do some turns in his honor.

Thank you for your service

I got to know Tom Miskovsky professionally, in the 1970s and '80s. We trial lawyers in the nature of things often interacted with the orthopedists in traumatic injury lawsuits. I took his deposition many times, as well as cross-examining him in court in those days, as I did with his partners, Drs. Gilman and Staatz.
Tom was a consummate professional, very supportive of his patients, an excellent and well-prepared witness on their behalf in legal cases.
I had many conversations with him...

I worked as office nurse for Dr. Tom for 20 years. He was always so very kind and upbeat. He had quite a memory. He remembered the names of not only his patients, but all their family members! My heart is heavy as I think of him and all the years we spent together in that office in Tacoma. Rest well, my friend. My condolences to Marilyn, Susan, Jerry and Katie.

I sensed Tom's thoughtful approach to life when I met him in Tacoma in 1991. This obituary fills me in on how very fully lived his life was! Warmest hugs to my pal Marilynn during this time. Ila Leavy, Greeley, CO
