Thomas J. Mitchell Sr.

My memories of Tom go back to the early 50s when a group of us from Benton Harbor, Kalamazoo and South Haven had parties, went to the beach, ate at Drive In’s and just generally had a good time. Tom was a unique individual even then. I remember him as a quiet person who talked only when he had something significant to say. To those of us who knew him years ago, we are left with our memories of a great guy.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father's passing. My heart goes out to you my very good friend and to all of your family. Of course, floods of memories come back about times spent at your house...your dad out in his workshop puttering away or working on some siblings car in the driveway or out in the woods on his tractor.
