Uncle Tom was an amazingly loving family man! He was always concerned with his wife's and daughters' welfares, and they were his world. He will be sadly missed in this life, by many friends and family members. Thank God he does not have to suffer any longer, though. He was so strong and brave through everything. Dear Helen, Taryn & Erin:
I am sorry that I cannot be with you for Saturday's service and tribute to Tom.
I greatly enjoyed each time he & I got together in recent years. Visiting with all of you last month helped me to accept what he had already accepted with such courage and grace. He found his vocation in loving you. He'll always be Jake to me.

Helen, Taryn and Erin, you are in my prayers during this difficult time. Tom was a great person and someone I'm glad to have known for so many years. May you take comfort in knowing that you now have an angel looking over all of you and he is now at peace.
