Not sure what to say?

It is difficult to accept that it is seven years since Thom's passing. He loved his research into family history and it is such a pity his premature death prevented him from seeing my long awaited book's appearance in December 2016. He and Nat continue to be greatly missed.

I didn't know Thomas, but I will be forever grateful for this Beautiful gift he has given so many. You have opened my eyes and have enhanced my life through your endless work. God Bless you Thomas and may you rest in peace,

2012 Torrevieja, Spain

To Laurie and Ray,

Thom is not forgotten- his anniversary was remembered on 12th March, and Nat remains fresh in my memory. It is hard to believe that is seven years in June since Nat's death and a year since Thom passed away.
It is good to know that their places of burial is close together.

I just learned of Thom Montgomery's passing. Thom contributed a very scholarly body of work, "Shivers Family: Chronicles and Connections" to the world and especially family researchers. He was very generous in allowing his research to be used on various genealogy websites with free access. I corresponded by email with him a bit a few years ago. I'll always remember that contact and his words to me.

Hi Laura,
I am contactable on skype, but we return to Spain early Sunday morning, where my internet speed is too low. Thom and I were very close, and there were lots of emails exchanged in February. If you have a phone number I can call today or tomorrow. Thom confirmed his phone number and we would have spoken the first weekend after 15th March, when we returned to the U.K. I cannot tell you how much I will miss him. I am happy to share my recollections with you at any time.

To my Dad, I miss you everyday. Thanks for being a great dad. I miss your strong voice, convictions, smile and hugs. Your forever grateful daughter Tumbleweed.

Thom, Micahel Forde, Nathan, Max

Thom was the very best of friends, and I will feel the loss of his passing greatly. He made a huge contribution to family research and was very knowledgeable indeed. May he rest in peace.

A truly fine man, representing what we should all strive to be.

No one could have asked for a better brother. He was an adventure wrapped up in lots of laughs! Oh how we'll miss him.
