Not sure what to say?

I just recently became aware of Tom’s passing and am sorry to see him go so soon.
As partners at Booz Allen Hamilton, Tom and I worked on several projects and marketing initiatives. It was very clear how respected Tom was both in the Air Force and in the Intelligence community. And, Tom was admired for his technical contributions and leadership qualities among his Booz Allen partners and staff. A class act guy.
He will be missed.
My condolences to his lovely wife Barbara...

It is with much sadness to hear of Gen Ms passing. I will keep him and his family in my thoughts and prayers. It is indeed an honor and pleasure to have served with Gen M and Space Command both in Cheyenne Mt and AF Space Command headquarters. God bless you sir and may the angels welcome you into Heaven thank you for your service! CMSgt Mike Reilly, USAF Retired

Met Tom in 1988, where we served as Brigadiers on the AFSC Staff, Andrews AFB, MD. He was an amazing colleague and brilliant officer. Learned so much from Tom about space operations..... and about his love of our Air Force and his vision of its future. Serving as AF Vice Chief to another great officer and friend, AF Chief Ron Fogleman, led our AF through some trying times. RIP Tom, you have a legacy well earned.

I served with General Moorman and knew him for many years following his retirement, and, most recently, during his advisory role for us at NOAA. Like so many young officers of my generation, he taught us the "space business". He also taught us by example how to lead and to be respectful and courteous to everyone, especially in the political environment in Washington DC. He lives on in everyone he mentored.

Tom was and still is an inspiration to many. I had the privilege to work for Tom and found his humor, depth of knowledge, leadership and calmness an inspiration to my personal life and career. He lives through many of us who were lucky enough to to know him.

I had the privilege to know and work for Gen. Moorman at Booz Allen. He was a mentor and teacher to me and to many others. He inspired excellence to all. He will truly be missed. Barbra and family are deepest condolences.

Thanks, Boss for enhancing my life -- both personal and professional. My memories of serving with you are some of my very best. Thanks Barbara for sharing him with so many of us.

I never served under General Tom Moorman in the Air Force and was not very close to him, although I was part of his team for the Space Industrial Base Study while we were both at Booz Allen. I always admired him as a leader for USAF efforts in space (a non-pilot who became the second highest ranked Air Force general as Vice Chief of Staff, a rarity indeed) and a perfect gentleman. More importantly, I, even as a retired USAF Lt Col, felt that I could always approach him with any question and...
